Living Will

A Living Will, also called a Declaration of a Desire for a Natural Death, expresses your desires regarding nutrition and hydration in the event of a terminal illness or permanent unconsciousness. It also allows you to appoint an agent with the ability to enforce your wishes as written in the document. This document often supplements the Health Care Power of Attorney and can be a useful tool in the event tube feeding becomes necessary during hospitalization.
